Isla is a 3 year old female Dutch Shepherd. She is as sweet as can be. Isla can be a little shy at first but she warms up quickly. Isla just wants to be with her people and she loves children. She will pick one particular family member as her person.
Isla was an owner surrender and came in with another dog. We feel she would get along with a calm dog that is more independent/aloof, but a meet and greet is always required. Isla also seems to be cat friendly too. :)
Isla needs someone with at least German Shepherd experience but Dutch Shepherd or Belgian Malinois experience is definitely a plus. She does have basic obedience but she would benefit with continual training to keep her mind stimulated. She is certainly eager to please! Isla loves chasing the ball, going for walks and car rides.
Isla is located in a foster home near West Palm Beach, Florida. If interested in Isla please complete an application at www.ShepherdHelp.org.
