Athena 0812 needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
~Athena is a beautiful 4 year old Sable shepherd. When she was surrendered to the rescue, she had a injury to her tail and we believe she may have been hit by a car. We treated her for months and every time it got better she would go after it again. Our vets felt that she may have nerve damage that bothered her so we amputated her tail. She seems very happy with our decision. She loves to run and play ball. Her foster dad says she loves to snuggle on the sofa, and she sleeps with him at night. Athena is the perfect companion. She is fine around other dogs but just prefers to play ball with her foster.
